Powermatic - Vertical Band Saws

From a family operated corn milling operation in McMinnville, TN. to today’s 400,000 square foot facility in LaVergne, TN., the evolution of Powermatic has echoed the success of polaroid American business ingenuity throughout the 20th Century and into the new millennium.

For smaller jobs, a model like the PWBS-14CS Bandsaw works great. It has an extra large, two-piece cast iron table. It consists of a 15" x 15" tilting section and a fixed 15" x 5" extension for a total working surface area of 15" x 20". A balanced, nine-spoke cast iron wheel makes for smooth blade travel, and a Carter™ quick tension release lever makes blade changing easy.  Need something heavier-duty? The 24" Bandsaw has a powerful, totally enclosed, fan-cooled motor to keep dust out for longer life and maximum performance. An extra large cast iron table offers more work area in front of the blade. The table tilts 45° to the right and 10° to the left and comes standard with T-slot miter gauge.
